What effects does the EU GDPR have on your AppYourself app?
How does the EU GDPR affect me, my app and users?
Of course, your users – whether native users or PWA users – also leave personal data in your app. So the basic EU data protection regulation also applies to your app. Either the data is stored and processed directly on our platform or the data is processed by third parties. This includes:
Cookies and third party systems
For our web apps and websites we use a cookie hint. We also use Google Analytics for statistics. Google Analytics can of course also be deactivated at any time – with the cookie opt-out. This can be found in the imprint of the app. The service can be deactivated under Google Analytics. Of course, we also use IP anonymisation so that no conclusions can be drawn about the user.
The user profile, the chat and also our form modules collect data. This data is processed on our servers in Germany and on Google servers in the USA.

Of course, your users can also delete their profile in your app at any time. To do this, call the app profile and go to Edit profile and confirm Delete profile.
