Use the form function for various purposes
The form module in the app maker contains different templates that you can use depending on the application, e.g. ratings, feedback or defect reports. You can create individual categories, which the corresponding form should contain.
Edit form fields
In addition, you can specify for each form field whether it should be a mandatory field. Only when your customers have filled in these fields can they send the form. To do this, click on the exclamation mark (surrounded by a red circle in the upper screenshot), which is located next to the corresponding form field. With a click on X you can delete a form field. In your app these fields are displayed in the form with a small red asterisk.
Under this item you can add already existing form fields (e.g. name, e-mail, phone number or selection fields) and also create individual fields for your form. The Text or Freetext field, for example, is suitable for this.
Form field photo
Your customers can also upload photos using the form. They have the option to specify the size of the photo to be displayed in the app (small, normal or original). So there will be no problems in the presentation. However, the maximum file size of the image should not exceed 10 MB.
Add profile fields
The form can also be provided with profile fields from the Profile app. These are the fields you have already defined in the Manage section under Settings > Profiles to get certain information from your app users, e.g. membership ID or address. More information about the app profile and how to edit it can be found in this article.
In the forms module the previously defined profile fields will appear under the item Add profile fields.
The special thing about the profile fields is that they fill in automatically. If, for example, you have defined the name and e-mail address of your app user as a profile field and he now calls the form in your app, these two fields will already be filled with his profile data. Your app user saves a lot of time and can send the form to you faster without having to fill in all fields individually.
Customize confirmation page and set receiver
So that your user can be sure that his message will reach you, a confirmation message can be integrated into the form. This message will be displayed to your user when sending the form. All messages (e.g. inquiries, reservations or appointment bookings) that are forwarded to you via the form also appear in the dashboard under Activities. From there you can edit them directly, e.g. send a confirmation via chat message or manage and close requests. These requests will also be sent to your e-mail address, which you have previously entered in the dashboard.
